ScanX introduces a hardware and software solution for inventory management which integrates the use of handheld Pocket PC Devices, such as the Symbol PPT2800, with desktop software that allows the capturing and management of inventory data.  The system allows the user to scan barcodes and enter quantities of items, modify locations, as well as other characteristics of the item  during physical field inventories. Back at the desktop the Handheld device is synchronized with the data source for fast, accurate accountability.

ScanX also has the ability to track Assets as well as inventory.  Using the same processes ScanX can scan and allow the remote users to modify certain Asset data as well as inventory.  

ScanX also offers Remote data synchronization between a local Desktop and main data repository.  With the Enterprise Data plug-in installed, ScanX becomes an Enterprise Inventory and Asset Management system!
